Campus Crossroads
Fall 2008
![]()
Campus Crossroads is a campus church at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This site moves them from a flash-based “designer website” to a multi-user Wordpress installation for ease of updating new content and much improved accessibility. The colors are earthy and textured, the design is visually more ornate than my previous work, and the layout is modern and inviting, reflecting the fact that the church is on a college campus and is accordingly contemporary in its style.
Epta Astera
Summer 2008
![]()
Epta Astera is a post-industrial folk liturgy band based in Chapel Hill, whose entire branding, including cover art and web design, were done by us. The album cover was meant to evoke a distant, surreal, yet ominous feeling, much like the music itself does. The website was built to conform to the theme of this album. Similar scenery is in the website’s header, but blending with the main content box rather than being a separate visual item. The logo, a seven pointed star, was created in reference to the band’s name, which is Koine Greek for Seven Stars. The site is built entirely on a stock wordpress installation, allowing for ease of maintenance and upgrading.
Dragonblade Computers
Spring 2007
Dragonblade Computers is a computer repair company in Salisbury, North Carolina for which I designed this website. The whole site is built off a WordPress installation, and besides the header is very efficient bandwidth-wise.
The logo, seen in the center of the header, was designed in Adobe Flash as part of the company’s branding.
Universal Alignment
Spring 2006
Universal Alignment was a draft website done for a golf ball and training company by that name. It, like this site, uses a unified list navigation system and a photographic header with extensive shading and shadowing, a drawn-from-scratch logo, and page-by-page styling (see the FAQ section for example). As a draft, several links will not work [for example, the Store link], but it is otherwise a fully functional and standards-compliant PHP-powered website.
Please note all content is © Universal Alignment.
